This is beautiful...and to think there's a Gondolier named Roberto in New Orleans, too!

Ciao!

Hello Marie! I think most american gondoliers use italianate "pen names" while on the job to give a more authentic ride.

Hello! I'd like to ask if it is generally possible to go from Venezia to Milan after midnight?

It looks like trains are not running on that line from late evening until next morning, so I don't know what to do if a plane takes off from Malpensa in the early morning?

Hello Tamàs,

The only way I know of getting to Milan for an early morning flight would be by car. You might consider renting one or leave Venice the night before and stay in a hotel near Malpensa. Malpensa is about a 3-4 hour drive from Venice, because it's on the furthest side of Milan from Venice. Good luck e buon viaggio!
