Mexican Fountain Gondolas

I'm sitting here eating something with eggs, onions, cheese, cilantro and smothered in Cholula sauce, and thinking about ways to celebrate Cinco de Mayo this evening (and ways to burn off the resulting calories), and Joe Gibbons from Gondola di Venezia in Boston sends me this photo:


If she looks familiar, you may have seen my post from July of '09 entitled "Gondolas in Mexico"
In an earlier post today, I said that there were no gondolas in Mexico, at least no operating ones, but there are two at the Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso in Riviera Maya. 

I've not yet seen them up close, but Joe and I suspect they may be Tramontin vessels.
Maybe if we had his phone number, we could call the guy on the ladder and ask him to check under the caenelo for proof.
