Right Place, Right Time

I showed up on the docks this evening to get some work done,
figuring I'd say hello to my gondoliers as they came and went.
As I arrived, I realized I was in the right place at the right time.
The sky was glowing with brilliant colors that blew my mind.
Here are a few snaps.

Steel blade and sunset-touched waters.

Mike B. heads out with a very happy couple on board.

Steve arrives - reluctantly, and late; he told me:
"sorry I was late coming in, but I just kept having to turn around
to show the sky to my passengers".

I told him that I knew just what he meant,
because I'd done the same thing two days earlier.

I stumbled upon your blog as I was searching for where to go to see gondolas in SoCal. My kids and I have been reading books about Venice and I wanted then to get to at least see a gondola up close, but I'm not sure where to go. Any suggestions?

Hi Deanna.
You can contact me directly at greg@gondola.com.
Based on your location, I'll direct you to the best place or places to catch "gondolas in action".
Have a terrific day,
