Overhead Display

As the sun lowered closer towards the horizon this evening,
I thought to myself "maybe we'll see a little color tonight",
but I was doubtful.
But the lower the sun dropped,
the more interesting things overhead became.
Tonight, the sky turned out to be amazing.

Steve Elkins rowing into "amazingness".

My passengers and I traded "buona sera" greetings with Steve and his passengers as they passed by on the Wedding Gondola, heading towards the source of all that color.

I also had the chance to catch up with Mark Schooling as he rowed past with another lucky couple - watching the display overhead.

My passengers managed to whip out just about every kind of electronic device known to man - capturing the sunset skies with each,
so I handed them my phone and asked if they would snap a few for me.

All-in-all, it was another one of those moments where I know without a doubt that I am blessed to live wher I live, and lucky as heck to work in the job that I have.
