Silhouette

I caught this shot today of gondolier Steve Elkins.
From the right angle, at just the right time, the waters of Newport can appear like a sea of shimmering diamonds.

Go ahead and use it.
The gondolier is Steve Elkins.
The boat is a Venice-built gondola known as the "Phoenix" - which was also used in our expedition down the Hudson River in New York three years ago (plenty of content on the blog about that).
The photographer was Greg Mohr...with an Olympus E-510, no tripod, and a lot of luck. :o)
