Yesterday I was in the Naples neighborhood and stopped on a bridge overlooking the canals. Not long after I'd set up my tripod, a gondolier rowed by with his passengers.
I took a closer look and it turned out to be Peter Dever.
Pete was wearing a nice new Giuliana Longo hat and enjoying the clear perfect conditions on the last day of 2009 in Alamitos Bay.
I caught some video of Pete as he rowed off......and then turned the corner.
And as much as I love taking photos and video of gondolas, as I watched Pete rowing along, I found myself wishing I was down on a gondola with a remo in my hands instead.
