I shot these two photos last week at Sunset Gondola during low tide. As gondola owners, we usually associate "evidence of birds" with poop - that caustic flying insult that burns through paint and contrasts so nicely on black paint.
Any time you have exposed mud next to the water though,
you'll likely see a more sublime indicator that birds have been about...
...mud tracks. Yep, if you see these little footprints near your gondola, you can be sure that they've been around, and you'd better make sure they didn't leave you some "other evidence" - the type you clean up with a hose.
