Ever wanted to give an SUP paddler a good solid shove?
Now's your chance.
A while ago I posted about a guy named Bart de Zwart who had done an expedition from one end of the Hawaiian Islands to the other.
You can read about it in "SUP Expedition in the News".
I've become a fan of this guy, because what he did was gutsy, courageous, crazy, and over-the-top.
It was far more impressive than winning a race.
Well I just found out that Bart is in the running for SUP Man of the Year.
I don't usually co-opt the Gondola Blog for such things, but I'd like to encourage you all to take 30 seconds of your time, check into:

He's in the running, currently at 2nd place,
but within striking distance of number one.
So let's give him a shove.
I'd love to tell Bart that the reason he won the prize is because a bunch of rowdy gondoliers gave him a good shove when he needed it.

Hi Greg, thanks a lot for 'pushing hard'. It is nice to read you row gondolas in California. Except in Italy you don't them much. So respect also for you.
