Venice in Manhattan

photos by Maria TorffieldNo, I'm not talking about our friend Andres Garcia in Central Park, although he is the REAL "Venice in Manhattan" these days.

Maria shot these images in the American Express building near the World Trade Center.

I don't know how long the painting's been up, but I'm pretty sure I recognize the setting.
The Punta della Dogana is just left of center, with the distinctive domes of the Santa Maria della Salute behind and to the left.
Hmm. Anybody recognize the tall structure in the middle there? Notice the two rowers on the small sandolo.
