After a surprisingly strong downpour this morning,
the day settled into a sort of Seattle-like weather pattern.
Then, just around sunset, those pesky clouds slid out of the way
just in time for a dramatic finish.
Luckily, my gondolier Jakob was there to snag a quick photo.
