This came in yesterday from our friends at Gondola di Venezia in Boston:
We're a bit sad here in Boston. Steve and I are about to row our last tours of the season. Looking forward to California in a few weeks. Weather is changing here fast, lots of foliage, getting very chilly.

The rowing season is very much defined by the weather in some locations,
and Boston is a perfect example. Their season ends, the boats come out of the water, and in this case, the rowers come out to California for the U.S. Gondola Nationals.
To all my gondolier friends in Northern latitudes - I hope to see you in a couple weeks.
